Truly has that old school feel. Countless customization options and gameplay choices. Highly recommend.. Excellent game. Combat is fun and demanding, and rewards taking time to think and plan your next several moves before ending your turn. It also rewards and encourages you to develop a play style, rather than just going for simple min\/max characters. Story is slightly generic, but pretty good. Characters are good, but their voices and dialogues always have a bit of a real-life 21st century whiff.Romance is terrible. I mean, it feels as though the game was made by people who have no idea how romance works or what makes it fun. To be fair... well, never mind, point is, romance is terrible. The most rewarding way to do romance in this game is to have none of it. Make that your conscious choice. You're a strong self-sufficient leader. Trust me, you'll be far less disappointed.Graphics are gorgeous. Every part of the game has atmosphere and personality. And all the different weapons and armors for your characters are simply begging for you to send screen shots to your annoyed friends. Speaking of friends, get some friends to play this with. The multiplayer in this game is fantastic. It can get a little weird when you're lost somewhere in the woods while one of your party members is having an important key conversation - but, like I said, the story is generic enough so that explaining what just happened won't take long. But co-op combat with friends is pure excellence on a stick. You'll plan, argue, get your butts kicked, and re-emerge - possibly unchanged but certainly not bored.Anyway, play this game. It's good.. This is the greatest isometric RPG of all time. Nothing comes close in terms of depth - it's simply amazing in every regard: combat system, storytelling, world & mission creativity, art style & graphics, feeling of the world, player freedom, audio, soundtrack... everything. This is pure Pen and Paper at its core and all the features are amazingly consistent, work extremly well with each other and are perfectly balanced. Props to Larian for delivering the greatest RPG experience i ever had. And so much replayabillity with all the build, classes and ways to play! Oh - btw - it has 2-4 playeer Co-Op. You can play the WHOLE 90hour campaign with friends.. 267 hours logged and I have tried each class\/race. I've only fully completed the game once. I love this game but I couldn't force myself to play it today. I wish there was some massive DLC upcoming but no :..[ I have never played anything like it and I would find it hard to believe that another game company could top this kind of coop tactics fun run. if you're trying to decide whether or not to buy it, only do so if you have friends since playing alone is depressing. The best part is working with others trying to figure out how you're going to change up the strategy on the thing you just can't kill.. local co-op, split screen and amazing story.perfection :). Hands down the greatest game of all time. The story is the best I've ever encountered. Anyone who thinks that video games aren't art need only play this game to change their mind.. I very rarely review games i play but after just having beat this game i just have to say if your tempted to buy this DO IT! This game is one of the most deep rewarding rpgs i have ever played. Every minute of my near 100 hr playthrough was pure fun. Its one of the few games that feels completly finished without the need for extra DLC.. This is one of the most comprehensive and well made RPG's that I have ever played albeit it still has a few minor things that I have issue with.+Interesting Story(You basically decide)+Cast of companions has interesting side interactions+Great Turn Based environment combat+Comprehensive chunk of skills and potential character builds+Active modding community increasing replayability even more-Occasionally hard to see what your skill is going to do(Might just be me)(+-)If you don't like difficulty this game probably is not for you9.75\/10. Technologywise better than the other equivalents. Graphics, controller support, dynamic split screen co-op gameplay, graphics, combat system, musics, user experience.... This one definetely pulls the limits of rpg genre higher. Pro job. Thank you.. Probably the best RPG of all time, highly recommend.
